LEARNING METHODS

iFEEL's philosophy of imparting education centers on the creation of a true learning environment. To achieve this, the Institute encourages the use of a wide range of pedagogical methods and strongly emphasizes experimentation for further innovation. Case analysis, role-plays, participant presentation, use of computer software, simulation and games, lecture-cum-discussions are among the teaching methods commonly used. Individual and team learning are equally emphasized.

Equal importance is assigned to in-class room and off-classroom learning. Students are encouraged to carry out projects in their course, based on fieldwork and/or computerized databases. Factory visits help the students to experience and appreciate live industrial problems.

This multi-disciplinary approach helps in knowledge pool creation and all round development to produce result oriented managers. A variety of seminars are organized by students and faculty members during the academic session. There is a strong belief that true management education goes beyond the classroom.

A capstone exercise rounds-off the student’s learning experience by applying concepts of management in an integrated fashion. Both individual and team learning are, therefore, equally emphasized aspects of the learning process.

Broadly the Learning system has 3 Layers
1. Academic: The academic layer provides the conceptual base required across various subjects
2. Professional: The professional layer applies practical skills and industry experience
3. Personal: The personal layer provides coaching and mentoring to every student individually




Teaching Pedagogy

The essential features of our pedagogy is that apart from class room lectures, the trained facilitators assist a group in accomplishing its objectives. The different methodology adopted provides a conducive learning environment and student empowerment allows the minds of the students to fly and give their best performance both at the institute level as well as the corporate world.




Leadership Development

As organizations constantly transform to maintain competitiveness in a dynamic and uncertain business environment, effective leadership often makes the distinguishing difference between success and failure. Leadership development explores the human dimension of work and considers both the theory and practice of leading and managing people in organizations. iFeel engages individuals in Leadership positions across different walks of life. The objective is to inspire the participants by engaging with different people in leadership positions, draw learnings from various situations they have to share and over time develop a sense of personal leadership themselves.

Holistic Development
Holistic Development At iFEEL, we believe in all round development. The institute has a separate students activity center. The students involve themselves in many extracurricular activities and organize events regularly. They are encouraged to participate in the industry seminars and exhibitions.

Organizational Visits

The institute has a tie-up with various organizations so that students can interact with the business managers to equip themselves with the latest know-how and best industry practices so that they can take on the challenges and become modern day managers. These visits help the students to relate the management concepts to business situations and help them to develop analytical and decision-making skills. On one such industrial visit, students of iFEEL were taken to Shubhada Polymers Pvt. Ltd. in Lonavala to see the various processes in a manufacturing unit.

Research Center

Research is an integral part of any organization. The research center intends to stimulate research in the field of management. Our research centers facilitate innovation through forums and other initiatives that translate into ongoing relationships with businesses around the world. Our electronic databases, indexes and journals are accessible round the clock.


iFEEL Incubation Center

The Incubation center has been set up to encourage innovation driven entrepreneurship through research, incubation and dissemination of knowledge. iFEEL seeks to create a more focused conversion of the student's ideas and knowledge into a realizable business. The incubation center will comprise of faculty, students and service providers from various industry sectors who are committed to help the budding entrepreneurs with business plans, revenue plans, infrastructure support, fund raising and statutory compliances.. It will provide the much needed support and guidance by organizing face-to-face interaction with the successful entrepreneurs.
