iFEEL students are part of a unique learning experience; the "Global Citizen Leader" (GCL) designed by Leadership Beyond Boundaries (LBB), a global initiative by the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL); which is amongst the best educational institution in the world in US; exclusively focused on democratizing leadership development in association with our mentor institute WeSchool (Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research).

The program provides students with leadership and innovation knowledge along with an opportunity to learn and practice skills in a real-life context.

In our country today, while there is fast paced development happening in many areas, there is also an impending need to ensure this growth is more inclusive and sustainable. Creating a learning experience that brings about transformation in self and surround, so that the students are sensitive to these needs and equip themselves to address these challenges is an important part of the learning experience at iFEEL.

The combination of what they learn from the management program at iFEEL and the GCL program, we hope, will teach each of our students to learn to take small yet decisive steps, work with various stakeholders in the community, design simple yet systemic solutions and create a culture of responsibility and ownership. Spread over a year,the successes of the GCL program will reflect in the positive transformation they will think, connect, act and embody leadership. As part of this process, students are working on various opportunity spaces in and around Lonavala and Karla. The process of learning to observe, analyse, identify opportunities and then possibly offer sustainable solutions is a year long initiative. Some of the opportunity areas the students are exploring currently are:

• Empowering local youth to pursue better careers and / or entrepreneurial initiatives.
• Increasing women's literacy and education in rural areas.
• Increasing health awareness among local villagers.
• Increasing health standards (WHO) for children in local schools.
• Creating household or business based alternate energy solutions in Karla, Lonavala.
• Increasing access to potable water in local houses.
• Developing improved garbage disposal and sanitation systems in Karla, Lonavala.
• Improving local economic development through increased tourist engagement.
• Increasing profitability in the agribusiness domain.
